About Us
Windham First Taxing District Board of Directors
The Windham Taxing District Board of Directors are nominated for their positions on this board and are elected to office at the annual meeting held in April of the given calendar year. The scope of this board is to assist: Windham Youth Organization, the Assistant Fire Marshall, the libraries located in the "Windhams," and the oversight of the three volunteer fire companies located in: Windham Center, North Windham and South Windham, respectively. This is a duly elected body with the power to levy taxes for the residents of the Windham Taxing District to help pay for the aforementioned entities.
